Well used Australian made “ B-Boots plain shin boots are made from 6mm neoprene. The outer cover is made from marine quality vinyl, which is pliable and soft. The strike pad covering the tendon has extra padding with an additional piece of neoprene beneath the vinyl, so in fact the strike pad is 12mm thick, whilst the rest of the boot is 6mm thick. The boots are attached with 38mm velcro fasteners for easy removal. B-Boots are fully washable and easy to care for. Many other boots are made with a hard vinyl cover which makes the boot very stiff and in turn can cause the boot to rub. B-Boots are soft and pliable without losing the ability to protect your horse's legs from brushing and knocking.”
